Slum Stories Trailer
Slum Stories is a realistic view of the slums, as seen through the eyes of the residents themselves. How do children go to school? Where does everybody use the toilet? And how does the threat of approaching bulldozers feel?
More than one billion people worldwide live in one of the 200,000 illegal settlements we call 'slums'. That is one in six members of the world's population.
Slum Stories wants to change the perceptions of people who believe slums are nothing but crime, drug trafficking and violence. We show that slums are full of life, inventiveness, dreams and ambitions. Listening to these stories helps everyone to find better solutions than simply knocking whole areas down and building anew.

Il me manque l'argent . Si une association pouvait m'aider, ce serait magnifique . Cela contribuerait beaucoup au d

OMG, I went there the same year so amazing to see back in time 1999, Soooooo different, it was a totally different country then. Many things were so poor, and sad, and guns everywhere, robberies etc. Aloit has improved, but the corruption and all the Casino made me never ever to return to this once paradise of a beach town.... Its a mxed feeling seeing this.... Loved the atmosphare that time, and 2003 again the freedom, roaming around with big off road bikes all over the country, but THE POVERTY OMG, it was heel lto see! I promise, not even India, was as bad, maybe Afghanistan today is about the same!.

comunal land systems worked better than they are given credit for that is, they work well for self sufficiency and for small scale market oriented agriculture today however everything is bought up by corporate moguls all over, agriculture has become an industry, animals are commodities and people are no longer a factor the old argument that they provide jobs disapears when you look at reallity as wages plumetted or at least stagnated and automation increased making supposedly cheap food incredibly proffitable and defacto expensive for a population that is struggling to find work and as someone who is by no means a socialist or communist, it is time to recognize that giant corporations are no better than centrally lead economy states, they hold a monopoly and don't allow any competition to evolve we are producing a new nobility you will own nothing

Same in Pakistan poor people are suffering electricity comes sometimes people have to go far for water, people don't even have clean water to drink. No proper medical care system. Education system is not good, children's have to sit on the floor. People don't have money to pay for their bills. The rich is getting richer and poor people are getting more poor. Politicians are corrupt. Bribery is everywhere. This is why they are desperate to go to Europe for better life, but they go their illegally, and you see what happened in greece the ship drowned and many illegal pakistani immigrants was on their. I know Turkey has taken many immigrants and Turkish people don't like immigrants, because many of them are doing something bad. I feel bad for Turkey, because this is causing crisis in Turkey. God bless Turkey and I hope my country Pakistan can have good relationships with Turkey, because right now it's not good because of illegal immigrants, also Pakistan has to pay so much debt to Turkey, which they haven't done it. Anyway God bless everyone family, may God keep you safe and blessed.

I heard about the discrimination against thr Roma (gypsy ) people in Italy. My entire family is from Italy. There are many gypsy people in my neighborhood. They are educated, hardworking people who are usually thr first to help somebody with food and shelter. I don't understand this prejudice against thr gypsies All I know is, I refuse to visit Italy as I would be quite uncomfortable there

human rights, humans are not right,if humans were humane and not greedy, with little human effort, mother earth would have kept us all well, our mind is our destruction, even during Buddha times there were sufferings, ayurveda teaches us to be healthy, that means humans had disease both of body and mind in ancient society, our mind is the creator and the destroyer. As long as I live, i will help, i am gone ,still suffering exist, nothing has changed after Buddha. i can help, you can help, everybody can help but how to be liberated seeing the suffering since atleast Buddha times. it's shocking ,extereme povert, helpless human being on one side and other 1% helping ,as if all designed by God. I feel ashamed with guilt, why somebody needs help, every human being on earth is a wonder, few have messed up and control the rest of the world.
